The Level of Anonymity in Group Discussion Dynamics

There are a number of theories and models based on group decision support system (GDSS) and its literature however the need for a better understanding in the role of anonymity and its influence on activities of group dynamic is crucial. Hence in the present study, we consider the different level of anonymity and its influential effect on group discussion dynamics such that we can measure the evolvement of group discussion threads. The prevailing study of anonymity in GDSS is presented by describing the variables which include those factors that influence anonymity in GDSS, the types of anonymity and their relationships. The beauty of GDSS is that it is oriented towards meeting effectiveness to minimise the losses from an inefficient and ineffective process of group problem solving. From the content analysis, the website has been selected and this website will provide three different types of anonymity; full-anonymous, semi-anonymous and nonanonymous. This is in order to extend some key aspects of theory that may have an effect on my future proposition.
